Choose Clothing Selections that Are Right for You
Photographers are ask about wardrobe selections for their photo shoots all of the time. There is no clear-cut answer to be given other than choose what you feel comfortable wearing. This can include many different colors, styles, accessory types, and even prints. Make wardrobe selections ahead of time with consideration regarding the aspects of your photo shoot. The three C’s are a great starting point, comfort, coordination, and confidence. You want to make sure your clothing is comfortable, especially for children. Movement is part of finding a good pose so clothing should be comfortable enough to move in. Coordinating your wardrobe is about choosing colors that compliment your skin tone and hair color. It is vital that you look and feel good since it will bring out the best in you. At Guy Viau Photography we want you to feel confident in your wardrobe choices. Choose clothing that fits well and enhances your physique. When you look and feel good, it will show in your photos.
To Accessorize or Not to Accessorize
Accessories can be anything from hats, vests, jewelry, and scarves. They have the potential to pull your wardrobe together nicely. It is a good idea to bring as many accessories as you would like and then ask the opinion of the photographer concerning what compliments your clothing choices. It is advisable to bring at least four to six outfits. Depending on the type of photo session you have scheduled, it can be fun to go barefoot; otherwise do not forget matching shoes.
