CORPORATE HEADSHOT PHOTOGRAPHER IN LOS ANGELES

There has been an expansion in my journey as a photographer from fashion to actors headshots in Los Angeles to also working as a corporate headshot photographer in Los Angeles. I first started out shooting fashion photography due to my background as a full time model in the fashion industry. While I was based in Milan, Paris, New York, Tokyo, etc… I worked as a model and developed a love for photography, from my first test/photo shoot behind the camera I knew this was going to be my next and future career…

When I moved to Los Angeles, I was still making a living modeling locally in Los Angeles but also still traveling for jobs on location… This is around the time I started shooting headshots in Los Angeles, I was doing headshots for actors and models that were friends, acquaintances and colleagues. My headshot photography in Los Angeles expanded when agents and managers who represented my friends started calling me and asking if I would work with their clients. From that point on my photography went from testing models in the fashion industry to doing more and more headshot photography in Los Angeles. Because of the entertainment / film and television industry in Los Angeles, the demand for quality headshots was bigger than the photography tests for fashion…

In a short period of time I was shooting around 50-60 individuals a month for their headshot photography in Los Angeles.

Soon the word got around and professionals in other fields started reaching out, for example I started doing headshots in Los Angeles for lawyers, realtors, doctors, investors, and corporate firms in all different industries. The interesting thing about being a corporate headshot photographer in Los Angeles is that instead of settling for doing generic corporate headshots like we are used to seeing, I try to approach it with a little more flair. My background in the fashion world has given me much insight and experience when it comes to wardrobe/styling, what would be more photogenic… When it comes to body language, the differences between sitting down or standing up, how do you sit so it looks more photogenic and natural, same thing with standing… Today more than ever because of the advent of social media and everything being online, people want to have a headshot that looks like them but is flattering, and of course that’s very understandable, your headshot will be seen by so many people…
